We couldn't possibly pretend to be up to speed with what's in, hot and/or undiscovered, if we do not keep up with something else that's constantly evolving: language. Cool language, fun language, insider slang… you get it.
In other words, in order to get and spread the "Psst!" hype, one needs the adequate tools to communicate it. Hence, here's some
more material, for your entertainment:
foarte tare, frate- self explanatory, but very hot at the moment. Be careful to pronounce it sloooowly and clearly, enhancing each word, and stopping to honor the comma's purpose.
gen - currently in its embryonic phase, it is the equivalent of the English "and stuff", as well as "stuff like that". Used as a suffix, appended to the word by a dash; or not Ex: "Matrix Reloaded este o risipa de bani si vreme. Mai bine ma uit la Tuca Show si gen decat slow motion din asta de care face si bunica-mea cand se uita la telenovele!";
heteroi - an excessively macho man, who is doing everything in his power as to not appear gay;
jamitudine - used to describe the superlative character of a band; spotted in a text by the guru of subcultures, in general,
Stefan Tiron;
mantzocareala - the result of half-assed jobs and petty situations (as in
gainarie).
mocaciune - a variation of the now old "moca" (meaning "free"), this is found in conversations gravitating around topics such as bonuses, discounts, and/or gratises. Particularly appropriate when gossiping about cheap clients. Ex: "M-am saturat de mocaciuni d-astea care-mi mananca timpul si-mi subtiaza buzunarul."
tanganici - diminutive for "tanga", which is Romanian for a "G-string bikini";
