In anticipation for the movie and to show we’re no gullible creatures, why not come out and admit that fiction is fiction?
Prada was hot 10 years ago and it’s now become a classic. If you do a random check and tag search the fashion mags editors, chances are you’ll find Marni, Costume National, Catherine Malandrino and Marc Jacobs. Jeans, a Vince top, an oversized Bottega, and rarely a double C suit.
To prove it, take a look at what they wear:
• Carine Roitfeld, French Vogue editor-in-chief wears Yves Saint Laurent
• Lucy Sykes, Marie Claire magazine editor wears The Gap
• Anna Wintour wears Ralph Lauren
• Amy Astley (Teen Vogue editor) and again Anna Wintour at Marc Jacobs.
So do enjoy what the screen will show in "The Devil Wears Prada", but beware of appearances that might fool and hide what really lies underneath.
