You’ve had it with the mall craze. Calea Victoriei is great, but somehow it fails to agree with your checking account, as per the last balance the ATM screen showed. You’ve also heard all kinds of good things about Obor and Sir, however, these locations represent a certain mental barrier you’re not quite ready to cross. So the question remains: have you visited Outwear?
By far one of the most interesting and innovating multi-brand shops in the capital, the store gets a place in our hearts not only due to its architecture, interior design and the various furnishing textures, but also due to its extensive selection of clothing and accessories.
So why not have a hip shopping experience on the sounds of the hottest night club hits, while checking out the grafitti and manga wall art? Worried about your fussy taste? Trash & junkie? Clubbing & glam? Urban & casual? Maybe retro & vintage? You’re covered, whether you’re in one of those categories, or in none at all. The sales assistants will kindly make sure you’re taken care of, and they’ll give you ideas and friendly advice while you’re dressing and undressing.
The brands on display are new on the Romanian market, names such as Jack & Jones, TDK, Selected, Vero Moda, Only, Object, and Pieces being exclusive to this store. The most attractive feature, however, is the affordable price point. Jeans go for around 190 RON, sweaters - 120 RON, shirts, T-shirts and tops – 80 RON, accessories – from 30 to 80 RON and the shoes are around 200 RON. The store is very often and well stocked, so whenever you pass by you’re going to find something fresh and in your size.
And for those of you obsessed with facts and trivia, here’s the 411: the Outwear chain was founded in Cluj in 1997, and additional stores can now be found in Bucharest, Timisoara, Oradea, Cluj, Sibiu, Craiova, Iasi and Targu Mures.
