Sick and tired of everyone's notion of fashion or what you should be wearing?
If "no", then "wow"...
If "yes", then... we're not sure we can help, but we found something that's not threatening your sense of style. Quite the opposite, actually.
CATWORK. No pretense and no spreadsheets with cells that dictate enormous markups. Part of the reason is that Diana Osorhan, the CATWORK woman, used to buy used clothing in high school, rip them apart and stitch them back together into a fanciful creation. "All it took", she says, "was a little imagination".
Although she studied French political science, don't let this fool you; her designs are both fun and highly wearable. Several years ago, as a hobby, she began hand sewing purses and bags for friends. She found she was not satisfied with the clothing in other shops, so she began to make her own and… ta da, here is
CATWORK… open for six months now. Also in her store are unique, handmade jewelry from local artists. She believes in a limited series of clothing and designs what she herself would like to wear.
And you bet this approach works, as her little store is booming on Sperantei Street! Look for her "catwalk" shows at
La CafeNescu and keep checking the blog for news, like... her new opening in Brasov.
