I long to walk into any supermarket and be able to buy a casserole with colorful bits of fruit, all amounting to a healthy snack for around 3EUR, including the plastic fork. Not possible yet. We can get "salata de vinete", "clatite" and "sarmale" at Nic, for example, but not freshly chopped fruit, ready to eat. By the same token, I suppose, you cannot buy a freshly squeezed juice to-go while you walk around in the city, unless you want to be seen standing on line at Springtime (they sell carrot juice, believe it or not).
But much to my surprise, hope appeared in the shape of a giant orange split in half and slightly open, revealing two young guys with a mountain of oranges and a hand manuveured juicer. It was Sunday, it was hot, people were everywhere, so naturally there was a line and their business was booming. That's what I'm talking about, people.
